Nearly 100 administrators and faculty members from universities and colleges around the state were at Arkansas Tech University Friday as part of the Arkansas Association of Colleges for Teacher Education conference.
During the conference, attendees were able to attend various breakout sessions and network with colleagues.
Dr. Mark LaCelle-Peterson, senior vice president for policy and programs for the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, was the featured speaker at the conference.
Several Arkansas Tech University leaders helped plan the program including (photographed from left to right): Dr. Linda Bean, interim associate dean of business and professor of business; Dr. David Bell, director of educator licensure and support and professor of curriculum and instruction; and Dr. Mary Gunter, dean of the College of Education and the Graduate College.
Both Dr. Gunter and Dr. Bell serve on the board for the Arkansas Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, and Dr. Bell will take on the role of president during the 2016-17 year.
