Faculty members from the Arkansas Tech University Center for Leadership and Learning (CLL) lent their time and expertise to eighth grade fluency assessment at Russellville Junior High School earlier this month.
Among the Arkansas Tech CLL faculty members who helped administer the eighth grade fluency assessment were Dr. Mona Chadwick, Pam Dixon, Dr. Rebecca Shopfner and Dr. Matt Stephen.
“The faculty of the Arkansas Tech CLL is committed to work in partnership with the Russellville School District in any way possible to further the vision and mission of the RSD,” said Shopfner. “The ultimate goal of this partnership is to improve learning for all.”
Shopfner expressed her appreciation to Al Harpenau and Judy Pennington of the Russellville School District for their participation in the partnership for the eighth grade fluency assessment.
The Arkansas Tech Center for Leadership and Learning offers graduate level programs for K-12 educational professionals.
Master’s degree programs offered at the Arkansas Tech CLL include Master of Education programs in educational leadership; teaching, learning and leadership for both traditional and non-traditional licensure; and school counseling and leadership.
The Arkansas Tech CLL also offers an Educational Specialist degree in educational leadership, and the university is developing a Doctor of Education degree in executive leadership that would be housed in the CLL.
