The Arkansas Tech University Museum received an honorable mention for 2009 Arkansas Museums Association exhibit of the year on March 25 during the organization’s annual conference in Jonesboro.
The Tech Museum was recognized for its trio of exhibits as part of the Arkansas Tech Centennial celebration.
Located in the Techionery, the Arkansas Tech Museum is dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the history of the university. Regularly rotating exhibits tell the story of the first 100 years of Arkansas Tech and its people.
The Tech Museum is open each Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
