3OH!3 Spring Concert Tonight

The annual spring concert featuring 3OH!3 is tonight on the Arkansas Tech campus. Floor tickets are sold out, and a limited number of seat tickets available.

Additionally, free student tickets are still available in the Doc Bryan information booth. Prior to the concert, ticket sales will be moved to the box office in Tucker Coliseum. Students must present a valid Tech I.D. to obtain a free ticket. Limit one per student.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m. There will be a separate entrance for those who have floor tickets, which will be noted by signs before the event.

Limited concessions will be available. Officials want to remind everyone no bags, cameras or purses will be permitted inside Tucker Coliseum for this event.

Jenny Butler, coordinator of student activities and orientation, says SAB is excited to have 3OH!3 on the Tech campus this spring.  She adds, “I think this is a group that students will enjoy, and I hope students will take advantage of the opportunity to see this group at no cost by getting a free student ticket.”

The group says their music is all about having fun.  In 2009, 3OH!3 was nominated for “Best New Artist” alongside Lady Gaga, Kid Cudi, and Drake, at the 2009 Video Music Awards.

The group signed with Photo Finish Records after their first album in 2007 and immediately began working on a second album.  Their album, Want, was released in 2009 and features songs like “Don’t Trust Me,” and “Starstrukk.”

For their second album, Streets of Gold, the group worked with a variety of industry leaders to produce hits such as “My First Kiss,” and “Hit it Again.”

The duo is currently working on their fourth album in their native state of Colorado.

The event is hosted by Student Activities Board. To find out more about the concert, email Jenny Butler at jbutler1@atu.edu.
