Regina Alexandria Bates of Jessieville has been selected as one of 36 representatives from Arkansas Tech University in the 2012 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.”
Bates has served as president of Phi Alpha Theta and as a floor representative for Caraway Hall during her time at Arkansas Tech. She also holds membership in the Anthropology Club.
A member of the Dean’s List in multiple semesters, Bates was selected to present a paper at the 2012 Phi Alpha Theta Biennial National Convention.
Bates is the daughter of Regina and Charles Bates of Jessieville. She will graduate from Arkansas Tech with a degree in social studies education in May.
