Kirsten Nicole Barnes of White Hall has been selected as one of 36 representatives from Arkansas Tech University in the 2012 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.”
Barnes has served as president and membership director for Phi Mu fraternity for women during her time as a student at Arkansas Tech.
She also served as secretary for the Student Health Information Management Association and as a member of the Order of Omega, Gamma Sigma Alpha and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She was selected to the Dean’s List in multiple semesters.
Barnes’ parents are Sherry and Del Barnes of White Hall. She will graduate from Arkansas Tech in August with a bachelor’s degree in health information management.
