Cassie Michelle Loy of Hot Springs has been selected as one of 36 representatives from Arkansas Tech University in the 2012 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.”
Loy has been active in the instrumental music program at Arkansas Tech, including playing in the university’s trumpet ensemble, brass choir and jazz band. She has served as band librarian and as a worker on the band camp office.
A past public relations chair and treasurer for Tau Beta Sigma, Loy is also a member of the National Association for Music Education. She has earned a spot on the Dean’s List in multiple semesters.
Daughter of Pam and Terry Loy of Hot Springs, Loy will graduate from Arkansas Tech in December with a degree in instrumental music education.
