Amber Rachelle Acord of Coal Hill has been selected as one of 36 representatives from Arkansas Tech University in the 2012 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.”
Acord was active in the instrumental music program at Arkansas Tech. She served as a member of the color guard for the Arkansas Tech Marching Band.
A member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Acord was involved in Chi Alpha campus ministries and the Pre-Med Club. She was a member of the Dean’s List in multiple semesters.
Acord graduated from Arkansas Tech in December 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Her parents are Lisa and Stephen Acord of Coal Hill.
