2011 Who's Who – Taneshia Mays

Taneshia Keyonna Chemelle Mays of Clarksville has been selected as one of 29 representatives from Arkansas Tech University in the 2011 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Mays has served as president of the Black Student Association and as an officer with the Student Government Association, Up ‘til Dawn and the Campus Environmental Coalition during her time as a student at Arkansas Tech.

She has also been active in the Arka Tech student newspaper, the student television station, student radio station KXRJ 91.9 FM, Global Connection, Spanish Club and the Society of Professional Journalists.

Mays’ volunteer work has included trash pick-up duty on Earth Day and helping raise $10,000 for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A Dean’s List honoree at Arkansas Tech, Mays is majoring in broadcast journalism. She will graduate in 2011. Her parents are Kaye and James Donald of Clarksville.
