Magen Elizabeth Magie of Perryville has been selected as one of 29 representatives from Arkansas Tech University in the 2011 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
Magie has held membership in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Student Nurses Association, Church of Christ Student Ministries and Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society. She has also been active in intramural sports.
A member of the Dean’s List in multiple semesters, Magie has participated in flu shot drives for Tech students and members of the community the last two autumns.
She has volunteered since 2008 with Friendspeak, an organization that helps international students develop their English-speaking skills. Magie is majoring in nursing at Arkansas Tech and will graduate in May 2011. Her parents are Ellen and Jeff Magie of Perryville.
