Ashley Marie Arnold of Harrison has been selected as one of 29 representatives from Arkansas Tech University in the 2011 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
Arnold has served as a freshman orientation leader and as a member of the Math Club, Baptist Collegiate Ministry, Wesley Foundation and Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) during her time at Arkansas Tech.
She earned the Florence Cooper Scholarship and was active in intramural sports.
Arnold received the SIFE Service Leadership Award and the Arkansas Tech Intramural and Recreational Sports Memory Maker Award. She was a member of intramural championship teams and earned all-tournament honors in flag football, 3-on-3 basketball, 5-on-5 basketball and softball.
Granddaughter of Loretta and Steve Tarochione of Harrison, Arnold will graduate from Tech in May 2011. She is majoring in mathematics with a minor in business.
