2010 Who's Who – Savanna Knight

Savanna Brianne Knight of Charleston has been selected as one of 28 representatives from Arkansas Tech University in the 2010 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Knight has served as chairperson of the Volunteer Action Committee and as an officer in the Student Government Association at Tech. She was philanthropy director for the Arkansas Student Association in 2006-07, and she is a past president of Paine Hall.

She also held leadership positions in the Society of Professional Journalists and Up ‘Til Dawn. Knight competed in the Miss Arkansas Tech University Scholarship Pageant in 2009 and 2010. She has worked as an orientation leader, as a staff member of the Arka Tech student newspaper and at TV6. She has also held membership in Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) and the Public Relations Student Society of America. A member of the Tech Loyalty Fund Class of 2010 committee, Knight has earned the Kraft Global Scholarship and multiple scholarships in recognition of her performance in pageants around the state. Daughter of Jill Harrison of Charleston, Knight is on course to graduate from Arkansas Tech in May 2010. She is majoring in speech communication with a minor in journalism.
