Sarah Ann Strahan of White Hall has been selected as one of 28 representatives from Arkansas Tech University in the 2010 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Strahan has served as an officer for Sigma Tau Delta, the Alpha Gamma Sigma Scholastic Honor Society and the Public Relations Student Society of America at Arkansas Tech. She has also held membership in the Arkansas Tech Cheerleaders, Zeta Tau Alpha, Student Government Association and the Pre-Law Society. Strahan has volunteered to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the American Cancer Society, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Boys and Girls Club of Russellville, the American Red Cross, Main Street Mission and the River Valley Shelter for Battered Women. Strahan received both the Ted and Betty Williams Scholarship and a university scholarship at Arkansas Tech. Daughter of Dottie and Steve Strahan of White Hall, Strahan will graduate from Arkansas Tech in May 2010 with a degree in English.
