2010 Who's Who – Sarah Scott

Sarah Michelle Scott of Fort Smith has been selected as one of 28 representatives from Arkansas Tech University in the 2010 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Scott has served as president of Psi Chi and as an officer for the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She has held membership in the Order of Omega, Gamma Sigma Alpha, Sigma Alpha Pi and the Behavioral Science Club. A member of the Presidential Leadership Cabinet, Scott has presented at both state and national psychology conferences. She is co-author of the volume “To Attribute or Not to Attribute: That is the Post-Traumatic Question,” which was presented at a conference at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. Scott has earned a spot on the Dean’s List in multiple semesters. She received a Schwans Scholarship and a university scholarship at Arkansas Tech. Scott represented the university in both state and regional intramural sports tournaments in 2008 and 2009. Her volunteer service includes working with the River Valley Shelter for Battered Women. Daughter of Nannette Scott and Eddie Scott of Fort Smith, Scott will graduate from Tech in May 2010. She is majoring in psychology with a minor in criminal justice.
