Sarah Elizabeth Curlin of Ozark has been selected as one of 28 representatives from Arkansas Tech University in the 2010 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
Curlin won the Tech Idol talent competition in fall 2009. She has been a member of the Arkansas Tech choral program in the University Choir and the Concert Chorale.
Curlin served as secretary for the College Music Educators National Conference (CMENC) chapter at Arkansas Tech. She received a choir scholarship and the Ted and Betty Williams Scholarship at Tech.
Daughter of Carol and Dr. Jim Curlin of Ozark, Curlin will graduate from Tech in December 2010. She is majoring in vocal music education.
