Matthew Stephen Daniel of Clarksville has been selected as one of 28 representatives from Arkansas Tech University in the 2010 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
Daniel has been active in the Student Activities Board, the Residence Hall Association and the Student Government Association at Arkansas Tech.
He served as president of CREW (College Representatives Educating the World) and as an officer in the Student Nurse Association. His other affiliations include Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) and the Chemistry Club.
Daniel received the Eupha Sue Knox Nursing Scholarship, the Phoenix Scholarship and the Hazel Thrasher Scholarship at Tech. He earned a spot on the Dean’s List and was student worker in chemistry, biology, counseling services, health and wellness and development.
Son of Linda L. Wood of Clarksville, Daniel will graduate from Tech in December 2010. He is majoring in nursing. His minor field of study is psychology.
