Coming Soon: Leadership TECH, Cohort 2

With the intent to develop individuals as leaders and to build leadership capacity within the faculty and staff on its Russellville and Ozark campuses, Arkansas Tech University is currently preparing to provide the Leadership TECH program to a second cohort in 2017-2018.

Leadership TECH will expand its program with a second cohort in fall 2017. Any full-time faculty or staff member (classified or unclassified) may be nominated for Leadership TECH. The cohort will be a diverse representation of the university, recognizing the importance of leadership in all campus offices and academic departments. Anyone can nominate any candidate for the program. Individuals are allowed to nominate themselves.

Program development team members include Dr. Jeff Mott, chief of staff in the Office of the President; Dr. Mary Gunter, dean of the College of Education and the Graduate College; Bruce Sikes, chancellor of Arkansas Tech-Ozark Campus; Brooke Southard, director of payroll and special services and interim director of human resources; Amy Pennington, interim vice president of student services and dean of students; and Dr. Lucas Maxwell, assistant professor of agricultural education.

More information about the nomination process for the second cohort will be announced in early February. Employees may watch OneTech and e-mail for further information.
