Arkansas Tech University senior Terrionna Brockman has earned a Clinton Careers Internship through the William J. Clinton Foundation for summer 2016.
Brockman, a graphic design major from Morrilton, will work out of the Clinton Foundation office in Little Rock as a communications intern from June through August.
According to the Clinton Foundation, the Clinton Careers Internship program is “designed to provide an opportunity for college students from diverse backgrounds to work in a professional role for three months while building the career that they would like to pursue upon graduation.”
Components of the internship include hands-on work experience, educational/professional development and mentoring.
Brockman will graduate from Arkansas Tech with a Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design on Saturday, May 7.
She has served as historian for the African American Student Association and as a mentor for the Global Connect program at Arkansas Tech.
Daughter of LaVette Chambers, Brockman has utilized her graphic design skills for the benefit of the Office of Campus Life. She earned the Tradition Keeper designation through the Arkansas Tech Student Alumni Association, inclusion in the 2016 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges” and the 2016 Arkansas Tech Department of Art Senior Recognition Award.
