Arkansas Tech University student Hannah Shellito is the 2015 Tech Idol following Friday evening’s competition at Tucker Coliseum.
Shellito wowed the audience with her rendition of “I Believe” by Fantasia.
Kelsey Stone was the second place finisher, while Paxton Goates took third.
The judges for Tech Idol 2015 were Dr. MarTeze Hammonds, associate dean for diversity and inclusion; Thomas Pennington, Arkansas Tech professor of legal studies and associate vice president; Dr. Beth Giror, associate dean for student success and Jordan Cole, Arkansas Tech student and winner of Tech Idol 2014.
The Tech Idol program is hosted by the Office of Residence Life and the Residence Hall Association at Arkansas Tech.
