Bookstore Transition Schedule Announced

Arkansas Tech University will say farewell to one era of its bookstore operations and prepare to begin a new era during the month of February.

There will be a reception from 3-5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, as an opportunity for members of the ATU community to mark the closing of the Russellville campus bookstore in its current incarnation. Cake, cookies and punch will be served.

The ATU Bookstore in Russellville will close at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, and the bookstore will remain closed through Friday, Feb. 24.

The new bookstore on the ATU campus in Russellville will open on Monday, Feb. 27, under the management of Barnes and Noble College.

The bookstore at Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus will close on Friday, Feb. 24, and will remain closed until it re-opens under the management of Barnes and Noble College on Friday, March 3.

    Will the bookstore under Barns and Nobel College still be responsible for selling graduation regalia and all the things that the TECH bookstore sold? Will there be major changes to what is offered at the bookstore?
