Seven Arkansas Tech University students are gearing up to compete in the Miss Arkansas pageant next week.
The students are among 44 women who will arrive in Hot Springs on Sunday to compete for the crown.
The preliminary competition will begin Wednesday, July 6, and it will run through Friday, July 8. The final competition is scheduled for Saturday, July 9.
The Tech students taking part include (from left to right):
- Carleigh Tackett – Miss Diamond Lakes
- McCartney Drouin – Miss Ozark Mountain
- Haven Brock – Miss Greater Little Rock
- Carly Copeland – Miss Arkansas Tech University
- Brooklyn Woodworth – Miss Ozark Highlands
- Hannah Hatchett – Miss Johnson County
- Logan Moore – Miss Western Arkansas
Miss Arkansas is an official preliminary to the Miss America pageant.
