Area youngsters are at Arkansas Tech this week in an effort to hone their musical skills.
The musicians are taking part in one of three band camps planned for the summer.
Throughout the week-long camp, the students are learning more about their instruments, practicing fundamental skills and preparing for a concert.
On Saturday, the students will present a concert for family and friends showcasing what they have learned during the camp.
