Arkansas Tech University and Jackson Marseilles took full advantage of their home course knowledge during the Dave Falconer Classic at Chamberlyne Country Club in Danville on Monday and Tuesday.
The Wonder Boys won the team title and Tech’s Marseilles earned the individual title, both in dominating fashion.
Arkansas Tech had team scores of 277-294 for a 5-under par total of 571 and a 16-stroke victory over a field of 17 teams.
Marseilles shot 66-71 for a 7-under 137 total, six strokes clear of his nearest competition.
Luke Cornett (T-2nd, 68-75-143), Ryan Spurlock (T-7th, 72-73-145), Austin Gean (T-11th, 71-75-146) and Putter Srinoon (T-51st, 74-79-153) also contributed to the Wonder Boys’ team score.
Arkansas Tech’s Kellen Gray (T-16th, 76-71-147) and Shawn Tsai (T-16th, 74-73-147) competed as individuals.
The Wonder Boys will participate in the University of Central Oklahoma Broncho Invitational at Oak Tree Country Club in Edmond, Okla., March 19-20.
