Arkansas Tech University’s Hunter Eshnaur was selected as Great American Conference volleyball offensive player of the week on Monday, Oct. 12.
Eshnaur, a freshman outside hitter from Russellville, registered 30 kills and 15 digs while helping the Golden Suns earn road victories at Southeastern Oklahoma State University and East Central University last week.
She has reached double figures in kills in eight consecutive matches. Eshnaur ranks second in the GAC in kills per set (3.71) during the 2015 season.
The Golden Suns (13-5 overall, 7-0 GAC) are in sole possession of first place in the GAC volleyball standings with one month remaining in the regular season.
Arkansas Tech will host GAC opponents Southwestern Oklahoma State University at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16, and Northwestern Oklahoma State University at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17. Admission to Tucker Coliseum for both matches will be free.
