It’s been four years since the Williamson Hall fall dinner series at Arkansas Tech University last served a meal.

On Thursday, Oct. 20, the flavors and the fun will return to Williamson Hall Dining Room.

Reservation times for the dinner are available from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday. Deadline to make a reservation is 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19.

To make a reservation or order a to-go meal, send e-mail to Cass Capen-Housley, instructor and event coordinator in the ATU hospitality administration program, at ccapenhousley@atu.edu.

Cost for the meal is $20 (tax included). Cash, check, credit cards or debit cards will be accepted. All gratuities will be invested in the Walters-Williams Scholarship at ATU.

Opened in 1940 as the home of the National Youth Administration (NYA) headquarters for Arkansas, the building that came to be known as Williamson Hall reverted to ATU ownership after the NYA was discontinued in 1943.

Williamson Hall was named to the National Register of Historic Places on Sept. 8, 1992, and was in the midst of a major renovation project when it caught fire shortly after 4 p.m. on April 3, 2019. The facility was restored and re-opened in time for the spring 2022 semester.
