Arkansas Tech University in Russellville and Ozark will engage in virtual operations on Wednesday, Feb. 23, due to inclement weather.

Face-to-face classes will be conducted through distance learning and offices will function remotely. These procedures also apply to Arkansas Tech Career Center for Wednesday, Feb. 23.

“Given the uncertainty of the weather situation for Wednesday and in recognition of the fact that many ATU students, faculty and staff must travel from and to areas that will likely be affected by the winter weather that is in the forecast, we are taking this step in order to protect the safety of the ATU community,” said Dr. Robin E. Bowen, ATU president. “We will continue to meet our academic mission and provide services in a virtual environment.”

Any further updates will be communicated on www.arkansastechnews.com, through local media outlets and on ATU and ATU-Ozark Campus social media presences.
