Our Blood Institute will host a blood drive at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville on Tuesday, Jan. 13, as part of its ongoing efforts to address an urgent need for O blood type donations.
“Without O blood donors, emergency care simply cannot function at the level our communities depend on and deserve,” said Dr. John Armitage, president and CEO of Our Blood Institute. “O blood allows first responders to act quickly and decisively when every moment matters.”
Blood donations will be accepted from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in Baswell Techionery room 202. Donations for all blood types will be accepted.
Donors will receive a free T-shirt, a free ticket to Museum of Discovery in Little Rock and a free bundtlet from Nothing Bundt Cakes while supplies last.
