Dr. Dana Tribble, Arkansas Tech University assistant professor of student affairs administration, was recognized as ATU faculty member of the month by ATU Faculty Senate on Tuesday, April 14.

The honor is based upon Tribble’s role in planning and executing the 2026 Arkansas Council for Women in Higher Education (ACWHE) conference, her role as vice president for ACWHE and her community service through the Dardanelle School District.

In addition, Tribble was keynote speaker for a February leadership conference organized by ATU Student Government Association and she earned the ACWHE Significant Scholarship Award during the organization’s 2026 state conference.

Tribble holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree and a Master of Science degree from ATU. She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy degree at the University of Central Arkansas.

She has been a full-time member of the Arkansas Tech faculty since 2020. Her previous associations with ATU include service as a visiting lecturer, adjunct faculty member, director of the ATU Norman Career Services office and a two-time all-conference performer as a member of the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns volleyball program.

The ATU faculty member of the month program is an initiative introduced by Dr. Michael Rogers, who is serving as chair of ATU Faculty Senate during the 2025-26 academic year.

Previous winners of the ATU faculty member of the month award were Dr. Jacob Grosskopf, Dr. Julie Mikles-Schluterman, Dr. Cheryl Monfee, Neal Harrington, Dr. Bindu Subhadra and Dr. Jason Ulsperger.
