Dr. Dana Tribble, Arkansas Tech University assistant professor of student affairs administration, was the guest speaker for an ATU Graduate Student Council workshop entitled “Maximizing Your Time: Practical Strategies for Graduate Students” on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

“It offered an excellent opportunity to connect with graduate students while sharing tools for effective time management and success,” said Tribble. “I am grateful for this opportunity and always enjoy collaborating with our graduate students and the (ATU) Graduate College.”

Tribble holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree and a Master of Science degree from ATU. She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy degree at the University of Central Arkansas.

She has been a full-time member of the Arkansas Tech faculty since 2020. Her previous associations with ATU include service as a visiting lecturer, adjunct faculty member, director of the ATU Norman Career Services office and a two-time all-conference performer as a member of the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns volleyball program.

According to its web page, the ATU Graduate Student Council “promotes the success of graduate students by taking an active, leadership role in advancing the goals of the graduate student body” and “advocates for graduate student concerns” while also seeking to “collaborate with various campus partners as they engage in personal and professional development.”
