Tech Moms Wins Tech’s Got Talent 2019

Tech Moms won the Tech's Got Talent 2019 title.

Tech Moms, a band comprised of five Arkansas Tech University students, captured the 2019 Tech’s Got Talent title following the final round of competition at Witherspoon Auditorium on Friday, Oct. 4.

Tina Christiansen of Van Buren (lead vocals/saxophone), Bo Hamilton of Atkins (guitar), Hauna Gardner of Dover (piano), Tandem Young of Dover (bass) and Jacob Six of Van Buren (drums) won the $300 first place prize.

Other finalists were:

  • Caleb Mukisa
  • Oakley Smith
  • Kyle Sentell
  • Cole Huddleston

Matthew Moseley, Wild Oaks, Danielle Duggan, Bailey & Lauren, ATU Dance Company and Dallas Hall also performed in the preliminary round on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

Tech’s Got Talent is presented by the ATU Student Activities Board.
