Students Encouraged to Take Part in #YouMatterATU

You Matter ATU 2024

A social media campaign scheduled for April 15-19 is designed to ensure each student, faculty member and staff member at Arkansas Tech University knows that #YouMatterATU.

Led by the ATU College of Business and Economic Development, the university-wide initiative invites ATU students to take a photo with the #YouMatterATU backdrop and share it on social media with the hashtag #YouMatterATU.

Students may elect to take their photo with one of the physical backdrops located in Rothwell Hall or by utilizing the digital backdrop available for download at www.atu.edu/business/youmatter.php.

ATU students completing that process will be eligible to visit the ATU College of Business and Economic Development offices on the fourth floor of Rothwell Hall and spin a prize wheel for prizes donated by local businesses.

Participants in the #YouMatterATU social media campaign will also be entered into a drawing for the grand prizes, which will be an Apple iPad and a laptop computer.

Local businesses may support the program by donating gift cards, merchandise or vouchers for the prize wheel.

“The primary goal of this event is to foster a sense of belonging, empowerment and positivity within our student body,” reads a statement associated with the campaign released by the ATU College of Business and Economic Development. “By highlighting the importance of every individual’s contribution and worth, we aim to create a supportive environment where students feel valued, recognized and celebrated.”
