The Arkansas Tech University Women in STEM student organization and the HER-STEM at ATU faculty organization held a mixer at Rothwell Hall on Friday, Sept. 12.

ATU Women in STEM is a student-led organization committed to empowering students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The organization’s stated mission is to foster academic and professional growth by connecting members with research opportunities, internships, mentorship, volunteer work and community outreach.

HER-STEM at ATU (Helping, Empowering and Retaining Women in STEM at Arkansas Tech University) emphasizes helping women thrive, spotlighting women’s achievements and building community together as its core principles.
