Sexual Assault Awareness Month Events Planned

The Arkansas Tech University Office of Title IX will observe Sexual Assault Awareness Month 2023 with a series of events highlighted by guest speaker Adam Dodge.

Founder of EndTAB, an entity that helps organizations prevent online abuse and provide resources for victims of online abuse, Dodge has provided training on tech-facilitated abuse for hundreds of organizations. He is an advisor for the White House Task Force to Address Online Harassment and Abuse and sits on the World Economic Forum’s Digital Justice Advisory Committee. He has been featured on CBS, NBC News and VICE and in Vogue, the Washington Post and GQ.

Dodge’s lecture, “When Sexual Assault Goes Digital,” will begin at noon on Tuesday, April 11. The first 30 participants to join a streaming session in Doc Bryan Student Services Center room 242 will receive lunch and a shirt. The session will be available to all members of the ATU community at https://tinyurl.com/hdrt7e3c.
