Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center at Arkansas Tech University will begin its fall 2025 RPL Author Series by hosting Janet Ake on Wednesday, Sept. 24.
Ake will speak at 6 p.m. in room 300B of Pendergraft Library and Technology Center, which is located at 305 West Q Street on the ATU campus in Russellville. Admission will be free and open to the public. There will be a drawing for a free book.
A retired librarian and teacher who resides in Yell County, Ake is the author of “The Last Protector.” Published in July 2025, the book tells the story of Ezander and his fight to survive in a post-apocalyptic world.
