Norman Hall Art Gallery at Arkansas Tech University is offering its first exhibit of the fall 2019 semester.
“Portrait Procedure: Works on Paper” is a show featuring the work of John Harlan Norris.
The exhibit will be available at 203 West Q Street in Russellville through Friday, Sept. 20. Norman Hall Art Gallery is open weekdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (excluding holidays). Admission is free and open to the public.
Norris is an artist, professor and musician originally from Nicholasville, Ky.
According to his bio, Norris’ work “explores alternative approaches to portraiture and investigates notions such as occupational identity and virtual constructions of the self.”
