First-time and transfer students at Arkansas Tech University will be welcomed to campus by a group of their peers in advance of the fall 2026 semester.
Fall 2026 ATU new student orientation will begin on Sunday, Aug. 16, and continue through Tuesday, Aug. 18. The first day of class for the 117th session of Arkansas Tech will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 19.
ATU new student orientation is made possible by the participation by 52 returning Arkansas Tech students. Collectively and under the mentorship of professional staff from the ATU Department of Campus Life, the student orientation leaders will help newcomers to Arkansas Tech meet their fellow students, learn about student success resources available to them on campus and gain information about becoming involved at ATU, all while becoming encultured in the traditions and distinctive features of Arkansas Tech.
