One Pill Can Kill Event at ATU September 8

The Office of Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin and the Arkansas Tech University Division of Student Affairs will educate ATU students on the dangers of counterfeit medication and fentanyl during a One Pill Can Kill event on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Beginning at noon in Ferguson Student Union, the one-hour workshop will also teach ATU students how to recognize an overdose, how to properly administer Narcan and how to access resources to help a friend in crisis.

ATU students in attendance will receive a free meal and a free T-shirt.

Deadline to register is 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3.
