Norman Career Services to Host Guest Speaker Oct. 21

Aysha Alawadhi, a human resources and organizational effectiveness specialist with experience around the globe, will speak at Arkansas Tech University on Friday, Oct. 21.

She will speak in Rothwell Hall room 456 from noon-1 p.m. The event, which is sponsored by ATU Norman Career Services, is free and open to the public. The title of her lecture is “Finding Global Success in Business.”

Alawadhi has worked with such clients as IBM, McKinsey, Elevance Health and Cleveland Clinic. She has led projects focusing on diversity, executive coaching, culture building, talent development and people analytics in the United States, the United Arab Emirates, the Philippines, Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and India.

She is culture and engagement consultant for Anthem, Inc., the largest for-profit managed health care company in the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association.

Alawadhi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in public management from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Science degree in human resource management and development from New York University.
