The Arkansas Tech University Department of Campus Life will host a National Voter Registration Day event on Tuesday, Sept. 19.
There will be tables at Hindsman Tower, the Hull Building Student Union, Dr. Robert Charles Brown and Jill Lestage Brown Hall, Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center, Baswell Techionery, Chambers Cafeteria and Tucker Coliseum parking lot (drive-thru location) from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
According to the National Voter Registration Day website, the annual event is “is a non-partisan civic holiday celebrating our democracy.”
The holiday is endorsed by the National Association of Secretaries of State, the National Association of State Election Directors, the U.S. Election Assistance Commission and the National Association of Election Officials.
