Arkansas Tech University is reintroducing its National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) chapter and encouraging current ATU students to pursue induction.
“NSLS is the largest and only accredited leadership honor society in the United States,” said Megan Bell, director of the ATU Center for Student Engagement and First-Generation Success. “Our new chapter is part of this national organization with more than 800 chapters and more than 2 million existing members. Students are selected based on exemplary academic achievement and leadership potential.”
ATU NSLS chapter members will have access to more than $400,000 in annual scholarship opportunities, an exclusive NSLS job board, a personalized letter of recommendation and a leadership program designed to teach interpersonal skills that can provide graduates with advantages in the job market.
The steps to NSLS induction require an investment of approximately 9-to-10 hours over the course of a semester. They may be completed at the student’s preferred pace.
