The Arkansas Tech University Department of Campus Life reports that forecasts of inclement weather mid-day on Saturday, Aug. 24, forced the cancellation of the Luau With Our Student-Athletes event.
ATU Welcome Week 2019 will conclude with tailgating, a pep rally and the Green and Gold football scrimmage at Thone Stadium at Buerkle Field on Saturday, Aug. 24.
Tailgating will begin outside the stadium on Centennial Plaza at 5 p.m., followed by the pep rally at 6:30 p.m. and then the scrimmage featuring the 2019 Wonder Boys at 7 p.m.
Admission will be free and open to the public.
