Legislators Make Annual Visit to AGS at Arkansas Tech

Ten current and incoming members of the Arkansas General Assembly participated in legislators’ day at Arkansas Governor’s School at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville on Thursday, July 9.

Rep.-elect Brian Armas of Pea Ridge, Rep. Karilyn Brown of Sherwood, Rep. Nicole Clowney of Fayetteville, Rep. Matt Duffield of Russellville, Rep. James Eaton of Huntsville, Rep. Denise Ennett of Little Rock, Rep. Zack Gramlich of Fort Smith, Rep. Julie Mayberry of East End, Sen. Dan Sullivan of Jonesboro and Rep.-elect Bill Teeter of Russellville received a presentation from Dr. Jacob Grosskopf, AGS director, and visited with AGS students from the regions of the state they represent.

The 47th Arkansas Governor’s School began on Sunday, July 5, and will continue through Saturday, Aug. 1. This is the eighth consecutive year Arkansas Tech has hosted the annual program for rising high school seniors in Arkansas.
