International Film Festival Returns to ATU for 2024

Arkansas Tech University students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the ninth annual International Film Festival at Arkansas Tech University during the spring 2024 semester.

Eight films in four languages will be screened during the festival. Below is a schedule of showings. Each screening is free, and each one will begin at 7 p.m. in the Doc Bryan Student Services Center Lecture Hall, 1605 Coliseum Drive in Russellville.

  • Wednesday, Feb. 28: “Champions” (Spanish)
  • Thursday, Feb. 29: “The Little Prince” (French)
  • Tuesday, March 5: “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind” (Japanese)
  • Wednesday, March 6: “The Wave” (German)
  • Thursday, March 7: “Oxygen” (French)
  • Tuesday, March 12: “I’m Your Man” (German)
  • Wednesday, March 13: “Tiger and Bunny” (Japanese)
  • Thursday, March 14: “Pan’s Labyrinth” (Spanish)

The festival is organized by Philippe Van Houtte, ATU librarian and visiting lecturer of French.

Films are selected by members of the world languages faculty at Arkansas Tech.
