Caleb Raney of London, who planned to begin studies at Arkansas Tech University in spring 2026, died on July 27, 2025. He was 18.
Raney graduated from Dover High School in May 2025. He planned on majoring in mechanical engineering at ATU. He had deferred the beginning of those studies until spring 2026 in accordance with his commitment to serve in the Army National Guard.
A memorial service for Raney is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, at Humphrey Funeral Service Chapel in Russellville.
