Arkansas Tech University senior Cristi Butte of Paris received the 2021 outstanding student award from the ATU health information management program.
“Cristi been such a hard worker and a great mentor to other students,” said Dr. Melinda Wilkins, professor of health informatics and director of health information management and health informatics programs at Arkansas Tech. “I’m so very proud to have her represent our program.”
The award is based upon votes from program faculty members, professional practice experience site supervisors and peer students. Potential recipients are evaluated on such factors as professionalism, attitude, eagerness to learn, ethical practices and participation in school and community activities.
