Guest Lecture by Author for Hispanic Heritage Month

Dr. Evan Rothera will present an Hispanic Heritage Month program entitled “Civil Wars and Reconstructions in the Americas” at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 26, in Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center room 300B.

Rothera’s appearance is sponsored by the ATU Department of History and Political Science and the ATU College of Arts and Humanities. Admission will be free and open to the public.

Rothera holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Penn State University and is assistant professor of history at the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith. Louisiana State University Press published his book “Civil Wars and Reconstructions in the Americas: The United States, Mexico and Argentina, 1860–1880” in September 2022.
