New York Times bestselling author Ayana Gray will appear at Arkansas Tech University’s Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center for the RPL Author Series on Thursday, March 19.
The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a meet-and-greet reception sponsored by the ATU Black Student Association and the ATU Black Faculty and Staff Organization. Gray will speak at 6 p.m.
Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center is located at 305 West Q Street in Russellville. Admission to the RPL Author Series is free and open to the public.
Gray is the author of a series of young adult fiction novels. She released “Beasts of Prey” in 2022, followed by “Beasts of Ruin” in 2023 and “Beasts of War” in 2024.
Her latest book for the young adult audience, “Hawk and Sparrow,” will be released on Sept. 1.
Gray has also penned one book for adult audiences. Entitled “I, Medusa,” it was released in 2025.
A native of Atlanta, Ga., Gray has seen her books translated in a dozen languages across five continents. She resides in Arkansas.
