The U.S. Department of Education has sent notification that Arkansas Tech University will receive $514,478 in grant funding during the 2025-26 cycle to continue the Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) program for eligible ATU students.
A cohort of 50 Pell Grant-eligible ATU students who have children is selected each year of the grant to receive funding for child care at daycare facilities that have agreed to partner with Arkansas Tech on the initiative.
ATU has participated in the CCAMPIS program since 2018. During spring 2025, the program was expanded to serve some graduate students who meet guidelines for participation.
