Dr. Julie Furst-Bowe will remain in the role of interim vice president for academic affairs at Arkansas Tech University through the conclusion of the fall 2023 semester.
“I am grateful to Dr. Furst-Bowe for her continued commitment to Arkansas Tech University and her excellent leadership of the ATU Division of Academic Affairs,” said Dr. Robin E. Bowen, ATU president. “Our university community conducted a thorough search for an academic provost and vice president for academic affairs during the 2022-23 academic year. The candidate identified through that process declined the offer to join ATU, so we will continue our search for permanent leadership in the ATU Division of Academic Affairs through the fall 2023 semester. I am grateful to those who participated in the search process and encourage continued campus-wide participation moving forward.”
