Executive Board Provides Leadership for ATU SGA

Eight Arkansas Tech University students have earned leadership roles on the ATU Student Government Association executive board for the fall 2023 semester.

Hannah G. Stone of Clarksville is serving as president. She is joined on the ATU Student Government Association executive board by Elli White of Malvern (vice president), Noah Sumler of Memphis, Tenn. (secretary of internal affairs), Autumn Stoll of Benton (secretary of public relations), Ashlyn Brickley of Ozark (secretary of community outreach), Marquis Vasquez of Conway (secretary of community and belonging), Bryson Lewis of Paris (secretary of student development) and Breckyn Ballard of Pottsville (secretary of finance and administration).

The published mission statement for ATU Student Government Association is “to genuinely represent the interests of students and enhance the student decision-making process, to improve campus life through the creation and continuation of viable and effective student services, to preserve and protect the traditions of the university and to support students and student organizations in their academic and community endeavors.”

ATU Student Government Association meets at noon each Wednesday during the fall and spring semesters. The meetings take place in Doc Bryan Student Services Center room 242.

ATU Student Government Association executive board conducts its weekly meetings at noon Mondays in the Mary Anne Salmon Senate Chamber, Doc Bryan Student Services Center room 180.

Stone is available for office hours in the ATU SGA office, Doc Bryan Student Services Center room 219, from 10 a.m.-noon each Wednesday.
